What are emerging digital assets?
Emerging digital assets are newer on-chain representations of value, including real-world assets (RWA), tokenized stocks, and pre-IPO assets, as well as the crypto infrastructure used to move and trade them.
What is the difference between RWA and tokenized stocks?
RWA is the broader category — any real-world asset represented on a blockchain, such as real estate or funds. Tokenized stocks are one specific type of RWA: shares of a company represented as a digital token.
Is a tokenized stock the same as owning the real stock?
Not automatically. A tokenized stock is a digital representation of a share. Whether it carries the same legal ownership, dividends, and voting rights depends on the issuer and the structure, so always check the terms.
How do I move digital assets between blockchains?
You normally use a crypto bridge, which locks an asset on one chain and issues an equivalent representation on another chain. Bridges are convenient but have been a common target for exploits, so only use well-known bridges.
What is the safest way to store digital assets?
For long-term holdings, a cold (offline) wallet is generally safest. Keep your seed phrase offline and never share it, and verify every approval prompt and URL to avoid phishing.
